Zaman International School (ZIS) is an independent, non-denominational, co-educational day school governed by The School Board. The School Board has full control and direction over the affairs of the school, including, setting of fees, approving teaching appointments (including the salary scale), approving the annual calendar, and establishing and revising school policy. The Director is the chief administrator of the school and is responsible for its organization, operation, physical facilities, educational program, and all matters relating to the recruitment, appointment, assignment, evaluation, and promotion or dismissal of staff members. The school is divided into three divisions: Kindergarten and Primary (preschool-grade 6), High School (grades 7-12), and University. Each of these divisions is supervised and led by a Principal or Rector.
