Every year, Zaman International School sends its outstanding students to participate in various competitions in many countries and when returning those students always bring honor such as medals to the school, their families and country.
For this 2009-2010 academic year, three female students of Zaman International School participated in I Sweep 2010 competition in America and brought back great honor for the country.
When returning to the Cambodia on April 24, 2010, the three students were warmly welcomed by the management of Zaman International School and their families at the Phnom Penh International Airport.
The management of Zaman International School who welcomed them stated that this time is the same as the previous ones as two students of Zaman International School - female student BAN Ratanak Pisey, 17 years old, 12th grader, and female student DUONG Monita, 17 years old, 12th grader — were awarded bronze medals for the experience in refining bran into diesel and each of them was awarded 400 dollars as an incentive from Boston University. Whereas, female student SAM ANG Manin, 17 years old, 12th grader of Zaman International School, was awarded the silver medal for the experience in refining dirty water into clean water and was also granted some amount as an incentive from Boston University. I SWEEP 2010 competition was held three days from 15 to 17, in which 703 students from 70 countries and 45 states competed over different 450 topics.
